Like The Blind Selfie, Ink Studies was aimed at letting loose and being very free, spontaneous and expressive. However, the objects depicted in Ink Studies are quite recognizable relative to Blind Selfie. The art style is representational, giving just enough detail and nothing more. The materials used are ink, pencil, water and carbon pencil.
The first 5 paintings. The style was slightly controlled with ink splatters around it to make it look 'spontaneous.' Not my best.
This was an improvement. I started to make the ink become more integrated with the object of the piece and move from foreground to background and back.
